Ahorramas is once again the official sponsor and aid station provider of the Movistar Madrid Half Marathon.

Under the “#AlimentandoElFuturo” program, Ahorramas, a local supermarket chain specialized in high-quality fresh products, reinforces once again its commitment to sport, an active lifestyle and healthy nutrition, providing comprehensive support at several key points of the race, both on and off the course.

Sponsorship of official training sessions

In this edition, Ahorramas introduces an important new feature in its collaboration: the sponsorship of one of the official training sessions prior to the race. Reaffirming its support for responsible training and encouraging proper preparation ahead of the big day.

Presence at the Movistar Expo

During the Movistar Expo, from March 19 to 21, Ahorramas will have a booth where attendees can take part in a basketball shooting contest with several prizes for participants, including double tickets to watch Movistar Estudiantes, the historic basketball club from Madrid.

Support in the finish area and recovery zone

As the official aid station provider, Ahorramas will offer all runners of the Madrid Half Marathon a recovery pack including water, isotonic drink, orange nectar, cereal bar and fruit, to help them replenish energy after crossing the finish line.

In addition, they will once again be present in the activity area at Plaza de Colón, with specialized trainers to help runners with stretching and physical care after the race, as well as distributing fresh fruit among participants to encourage healthy recovery.
