The Movistar Madrid Half Marathon and Renfe join forces to boost participation from runners, their families, and fans in the city’s most crowded sporting event. From the Movistar Madrid Half Marathon and Renfe, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to travel to the capital of Spain and enjoy a few days you will never forget.

General conditions

You can now book your tickets to attend the Movistar Madrid Half Marathon and the ProFuturo Race next March 22 on the website renfe.com with a 10% discount on the standard fare on long-distance and AVE services. Any route with destination Madrid between March 16 and 24, 2026 will benefit from the discount on the standard ticket price.

Who can take advantage of this event?

Runners already registered for the race and their companions may use this discounted fare.

How to validate the discount?

To activate the 10% discount, you must request it via email at info@mediomaratonmadrid.es. Once it is verified that you are registered in the half marathon, the “discount authorization” will be sent to the email you provided when registering for the race. This authorization must be shown to board the train together with the ticket.

Once you have this discount authorization, follow the instructions and use it when purchasing your ticket through Renfe.

What is the process to buy online?

So that participants can enjoy the discount when purchasing their tickets on renfe.com they must:

1. Select the train they want by choosing any of the available options (Básico, Elige, Elige Confort and Prémiun).
2. In the fare dropdown, select the Congresos / Eventos fare.
3. Enter the authorization number in the box labeled authorization number (not valid for the discount code box).

Clarification: This promotion can be applied as soon as Renfe tickets are released for sale.
