The maximum time to complete the Movistar Madrid Half Marathon is 3 hours from the start.
Registrations may be completed until reaching a maximum of 30,000 participants and according to the following deadlines and fees:
The fees DO NOT INCLUDE the single-day license for the accident insurance of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, which costs €4 and will be mandatorily added to the registration. Runners holding an athletics federation license with coverage in the Madrid region will have this amount refunded when collecting their bib.
Registration includes payment platform management fees.
Registrations will close earlier than scheduled if the 30,000 available bibs are sold out.
Registrations completed before January 31, 2027 will have the name provided in the “Bib alias” field printed on the bib. Registrations from the waiting list or ownership changes cannot include a name on the bib.
Conditions of the cancellation guarantee and bib ownership change:
Once the registration is completed, and since the runner accepts these regulations, no refunds will be made under any circumstances except for those who have purchased this guarantee. For any contingency, the organization offers a cancellation and/or bib ownership change insurance, at a cost of €5 per registration, under the following terms:
The cancellation guarantee can only be purchased at the time of registration.
The amount of the cancellation guarantee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
However, bib ownership changes without this guarantee will be accepted until February 28 at a cost of €7, and at the Runner Expo for €10. Cancellation and ownership change requests (except those made at the Runner Expo) must be submitted via email to inscripciones@deporticket.com within the indicated deadlines.
Changing start corrals during bib collection (expo) will have a cost of €2.
Registrations may be completed only through the official website www.movistarmediomaratonmadrid.es and the platforms authorized by the organization and published on the race’s official website.
The runner must indicate their estimated finish time at the moment of registration, in order to access the start wave corresponding to their pace and thus ensure a smoother start for everyone.
To access start waves for times under 1h30 in this distance, it will be necessary to provide proof through an official result of the athlete in a certified race within the last two years that matches the wave time in which they wish to start. This information must be sent to info@mediomaratonmadrid.es before March 14, 2027. For registrations after that date, start wave selection is not guaranteed for any participant.
If the runner obtains a more recent official finish time, they may request a wave change at the Solutions desk during bib pick-up (Runner’s Expo). The wave change at the expo will have a cost of €2.
The following categories are established for both men and women:
IMPORTANT: All indicated ages must be reached on the day of the race.
The bib-chip and official T-shirt pick-up will take place exclusively at the Runner’s Expo on April 1, 2, and 3. More info at https://www.mediomaratonmadrid.es/mm4-expo
To pick up the bib-chip, runners must present the receipt or a copy of the registration (paper or digital), or their ID card, passport, or another official document verifying their identity.
If unable to pick up the bib in person, the runner must provide authorization to the person who will pick it up, along with a photocopy of the registered runner’s ID at the time of pick-up.
The T-shirt will be delivered upon presentation of the bib-chip.
Important:
All runners crossing the finish line will receive a medal as a memento of their participation in the race. The Organization will provide an engraving service for the medal with the runner’s finish time, which can be purchased when registering for €7 (at bib pick-up €8 and on race day €10).
Once any possible issues have been reviewed and classifications declared final, trophies will be awarded to the top three runners in all categories described in article 6 of the rules. Trophies not collected on the podium on race day will be delivered at the A.D. Marathon club office (calle Villaamil nº 65, Madrid, phone: 914026962) between April 12 and 30. If shipping is requested, the awardee will assume all costs.
